Birthday Kids Party Planning Ideas
Being the center of attention is great for some, torture for others but I don't know one child who doesn't love having a birthday party.
Decorating for a child's party is almost mandatory. Balloons, streamers, themed dishes, cups and napkins and the always cherished party favors ... too much fun! Balloon bouquets are an easy and very fun way to liven the atmosphere and delight any child.
One of my favorite birthday decorating ideas is to throw wrapped candy and birthday confetti on the food table. Guests love it. This is also a perfect assortment of candy for piñatas.
Another great idea that all children love is having confetti twisters available for a spontaneous, crazy few minutes of fun. Have these great confetti twisters in a basket, bring them out toward the end of the party or when you need to liven things up. Yep, they make a mess but it's relatively easy to clean up and kids get such a kick out of being able to make a mess. :-) Another perfect accessory for kid's parties is a bubble machine that will fill your yard or party room with effortless bubbles. Little children will go crazy for this touch and older kids love bubbles, too.
Even the birthday party games are fun for adults to put together and watch as the kids enjoy themselves. The very best birthday parties, where the kids all go home saying: "That was a GREAT party!" have really fun and unique party games. I try to outdo myself with great games and activities every year and it's sometimes tough but now the Birthday Party Games Lady is my new best friend. Sure, we've probably spoiled our children for the rest of their lives by lavishing wonderful birthday parties on them year after year but gee, how can we not celebrate them? They're our precious little munchkins! They deserve all we can give. Their spouses will have a hard act to follow, huh? Guess they'll just have to pick someone who spoils them, too. ;-)
An easy way to WOW the kids is by having a chocolate fountain set up either on the food or dessert table or in a place of honor, where they can dip cut fruit, cookies, pretzels, marshmallows, etc. into delicious, dripping chocolate contained in a cascading fountain. So cool, so fun and so so delicious! Chocolate fountains are a huge hit at any party!
